Introduction It is one of the departments of the Faculty of Physical Education at Tanta University. The department aims to develop and improve the educational and training processes in accordance with the academic standards. Many courses are lectured in it. It is interested in many different scientific research and sciences related to track &field events. The department was a part of the department of Sports Training in the previous bylaw in 1996. In the current bylaw of 2014, it became a separated department (Track &Field Events Department). The department consists of: 4 Professors 3 Assistant Professors 2 lecturers The department has been by Prof. Ghada Mohammed 'Abdel Hamid since 2014 up till now.
