Faculty of Sports Science at Tanta University announces that students who obtained the 2025 General Secondary Certificate and wish to transfer to Faculty of Sports Science at Tanta University for the academic year 2026/2027 must apply in person at the faculty to take the required skill tests, after ensuring they meet the following conditions.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet all of the following:
1.    Be a 2025 General Secondary School graduate from one of the following: 
•    Gharbia Governorate (2025 graduates) 
•    Itay Al-Baroud, Behaira Governorate (2025 graduates) 
2.    Have obtained at least the minimum admission score for Faculty of Sports Science at Tanta University for the 2025 secondary school graduating class.
Modern Secondary System:
•    Literary Stream (Boys): 175 
•    Science Stream (Boys): 160 
•    Literary Stream (Girls): 167 
•    Science Stream (Girls): 178 
Old Secondary System:
•    Literary Stream (Boys): 205 
•    Science Stream (Boys): 205 
•    Literary Stream (Girls): 205 
•    Science Stream (Girls): 215 
3.    Be currently enrolled in the faculty or institute from which they wish to transfer, and must not have been dismissed from that institution. 
Documents Required to Apply for the Skill Tests:
1.    An enrollment certificate from the current faculty or institute, addressed to Faculty of Sports Science, Tanta University. 
2.    A nomination statement from the faculty or institute confirming that the student was nominated but did not complete enrollment procedures in the previous academic year. 
3.    A certified true copy of the General Secondary Certificate, bearing the official seal of the Arab Republic of Egypt. 
4.    A copy of the national ID card. 
Application and Test Dates:
First Application Period
•    Application Date: Tuesday, July 28th, 2026 
•    Skill Test Date: Sunday, August 2nd, 2026 
Second Application Period
•    Application Date: Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 
•    Skill Test Date: Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 
Documents Required on the Test Day:
•    Six (6) recent passport-sized photographs (4 × 6 cm) with a white background. 
•    Payment of EGP 800 for the skill test fee, payable by card (Visa) at the faculty cashier. 
Notes:
•    The skill test fee is non-refundable if the applicant is deemed "Not Fit" in any of the skill tests. 
•    After successfully passing the skill tests, the applicant's documents will be reviewed again by the university administration. Additional fees for the transfer process from the current institute or faculty to Faculty of Sports Science at Tanta University will be announced at that time. These procedures apply only to students who pass the skill tests and fulfill all administrative transfer requirements.
