Faculty of Sports Science at Tanta University announces that it has received a circular from the General Secretariat of the Association of Arab Universities (AARU) regarding the launch of the fourth cycle of the King Salman Global Award for Disability Research, under the generous patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Award Objectives
The award aims to honor researchers and scientific institutions that have presented outstanding research contributing to the development of disability-related fields and improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities. It also seeks to support innovation and promote research collaboration at both international and regional levels.
Award Fields
In its fourth cycle, the award includes the following categories:
• Medical and Health Sciences
• Educational and Psychological Sciences
• Rehabilitation and Social Sciences
• Technological Applications in Disability Fields
• Universal Accessibility
Benefits and Rewards
The winner in each category will receive:
• A financial prize of 500,000 Saudi Riyals (approximately 133,333 $)
• A medal commemorating the winning work
• A certificate of recognition
