Prof. Hany Sa’eed, “Our Digital Readiness Ensured a Smooth Transition to Distance Learning During Weather Fluctuations”


   In line with the directives of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of the University, and under the follow-up of Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and in implementation of the instructions of Ministry of Higher Education, Faculty of Sports Science activated the distance learning system on Wednesday and Thursday, March 25th–26th, 2026 after the decision to suspend in-person classes due to anticipated unstable weather conditions, as forecast by the Meteorological Authority.
   Prof. Hany Sa’eed, Faculty Dean, affirmed the success of the full digital transformation of lectures during this period, noting that the educational process continued smoothly according to the previously announced schedules without any disruptions.
   He further explained that the faculty faced no technical challenges, thanks to the strong digital infrastructure of the university. He added that the regular monthly implementation of distance learning within the academic plan has helped both students and academic staff build familiarity and readiness, enabling a swift and effective response to emergencies while ensuring the continuity of students’ academic progress.
