Prof. Hany Sa’eed, Dean of Faculty of Sports Science at Tanta University and Conference Chairman, announced the launch of the Fifth International Conference of the Faculty of Sports Science, titled: “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technology in Sports Sciences: Prospects and Challenges,” to be held on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, at the Tolip Hotel in Alexandria.
   The conference is held under the gracious patronage of Prof. Mohammed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and under supervision of Prof. Hatem Amin, Vice President of Tanta University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. Prof. Sheriff Fathy, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, serves as Vice President of the Conference, while Prof. Ehab Al-Badawy serves as Conference Rapporteur.
   Prof. Hany Sa’eed, Faculty Dean, stated that this event is a response to the rapid digital transformations taking place worldwide, noting that sport is no longer limited to physical effort, but has become a science based on big data and intelligent technologies. He explained that the conference represents a platform that brings together “physical power” and “the extraordinary capabilities of artificial intelligence” to shape the future of global sport.
   The faculty is also honored to invite all academics, researchers, experts, coaches, and sports institutions interested in sports technology to participate in this exceptional event, to discuss the role of modern technologies in reshaping concepts of sports training, performance analysis, and the development of sporting champions according to precise digital standards.
