Registration Conditions for Postgraduate Studies at Faculty of Physical Education

• Birth Certificate
• Secondary School Certificate or the equivalent
• Bachelor's degree Certificate
• The four-year assessment certificate
• The Master's degree certificate for Ph.D. students
• The military card
• An unemployment declaration approved by a governmental body and stamped with the republic emblem
• Approval of the employer for working students
• A certificate of not less than two years of experience in the field of specialization for the general diploma students
• Six personal photos
• Paying the prescribed tuition fees
• Paying computer and online courses fees
• Filling out the form at Postgraduate Studies Department with clear handwriting
• An envelope to save the documents with a clear handwriting of full name, qualification, address, and date of birth of the student
Registration Dates:
• Registration for diplomas, master, and PhD starts in August every year. Date of submission is published on the Faculty's site and on Facebook
• Registration is electronic
• The initial enrollment is electronic via postgraduate system for electronic registration during the determined period
Registration Conditions:
First: General Diploma:
Study system (the one-year system for students who graduated more than eight years ago and students who obtained an assessment of pass in the undergraduate stage)
The required number of students to open registration for diploma in a specific specialization is not less than 10 students
To obtain the degree you should:
1. Get the Bachelor's degree of Physical Education from one of the Egyptian Universities or an equivalent certificate from an authorized institute
2. Have a practical experience in the field of specialization of the diploma in which he is applying to study for a period of no less than two years, provided that this experience is approved by the Faculty Council
3. Submit the approval of the work authority to study at least two days a week
4. Submit an application for registration upon the announcement. The applications are submitted to Postgraduate Studies Committee then to the Faculty Council for The diploma in Physical Education is given in one of the following specializations:
• Sports Training (in a selected activity)
• School Sports
• Sport Institutions Management
• Injuries and First Aids
• Para sports
• Sports Recreation
Second: the Master's Degree Tanta University Council grants the Master's degree according to the request submitted by Faculty of Physical Education. The granted certificates include the division of specialization
The minimum number of students to start registration for the Master's degree is five students
1. Period of study is not less than two academic years in addition to a year starting from the date of registration
2. The title of the thesis is registered after passing the exams of the first class
Conditions to gain the master's degree:
1. The student gets the Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from one of the Egyptian Universities or an equivalent certificate from an authorized institute with an assessment of Good at least
2. It is not allowed for students whose graduation was more than eight years ago unless they obtain one of postgraduate diplomas with an assessment of Good at least
3. The student submits an application for registration upon the announcement. The applications are submitted to the Department Council to give feedback before being submitted to the Faculty Council
4. Study is three days a week with approval of the employer
5. Other conditions set by Faculty Council to differentiate among applicants to choose the determined numbers
Third: PhD Degree Tanta University Council, according to the request of Faculty of Physical Education, grants the PhD degree in Physical Education. The division of specialization is shown in the certificate according to the specialization in the master's degree.
Period of study is not less than three years
Registration Conditions
1. To get the Master's degree in Physical Education in one of the divisions from one of the Egyptian Universities or an authorized equivalent certificate
2. To submit an application including the department to give feedback before being submitted to the Faculty Council
3. To pass the qualifying test according to the regulations approved by the Faculty Council
4. To submit approval of the employer to study at least 3 days a week
5. Other conditions set by Faculty Council to differentiate among applicants to choose the determined numbers
6. The student has the right to register the dissertation topic after passing the qualifying test so that the period between passing the exam and the registration date shall not exceed two years
